A printable log for working out how fast you actually get through a bag of coffee.
Each bag gets a row: the coffee, the size, the grind, and four dates. Ordered, arrived, opened, finished. The gap between the last two is the number worth having, and two or three bags is enough to find it.
A bag that lasts seventeen days on the four-week plan leaves eleven days a month with nothing in the cupboard. The same bag on the two-week plan overlaps by three days. Most people work out which one they are by running out.
Five pages: the log sheet with eighteen rows, a worked example, and a table of how long every bag size lasts at one through eight cups a day. The sizes that go stale before you finish them are shaded, and ground coffee is separated from whole bean because the window is shorter.
Undated, so nothing in it expires, and sized for a home printer.
$1 from every bag funds cat rescue in the Bay Area (bayareacats.org).
